There are different aspects that are often considered when people speak of project success. According to Guru (2008, p.1), â€Å"De Wit (1988) and other writ ers distinguish between project success (measured against the overall objectives of the project) and project management success (measured against the widespread and traditional measures of performance against cost, time and quality).† Jones (2007) also state that the success factors of the project mainly depend on its ability to achieve the desired goals. Indeed, in each project, a particular outcome is expected to be witnessed if all measures have been properly carried out in a project. As discussed above, there is need for the project manager to make sure that he steers the project in the right direction.
